Mission

Our mission is to award recurring scholarships to Black student leaders pursuing engineering degrees at UCLA. We will achieve this by soliciting, endowing, administering and distributing funds from a community of partners who support preserving the rich legacy of Black engineers at UCLA.

In partnership with the UCLA Black Alumni Association, we are excited to announce the launch of the UCLA NSBE Scholarship Endowment - an ongoing scholarship program exclusively for UCLA Black engineers who are also members of UCLA’s NSBE chapter. We need your support to start this legacy today and help us reach our end year giving goal of $25,000.

Board Member Bios

Your donation will be 100% tax deductible and you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation for tax purposes. Please consider your NSBE experience when considering your donation amount. While any and all donations are appreciated it is our hope that every UCLA NSBE Alum who has the information for this scholarship donates a minimum of $250 before the end of the calendar year. Our fiscal sponsor is the UCLA Black Alumni Association and the endowment will be held and managed by the California Community Foundation (CCF). This ensures that the Scholarship will be awarded to a NSBE student (incoming or continuing). The goal is to raise $25,000 by Dec 31st (to start the endowment with CCF) and $100,000 by June 30, 2022. We will have everything in place to accept Corporate donations by January 1, 2022.
